Design
The goal of the design stage is to establish and document
technical specifications of the middleware environment.
At this stage, we will determine required quantity, locations and
types of servers that need to be purchased, installed and configured
in order to satisfy earlier established requirements. There are many ways
to achieve high availability of the messaging environments. Those methods
will vary in their cost, effectiveness and speed. Part of the design phase
is to establish the best availability solution(s) where it is needed.
Availability solutions can vary from highly available Z-Series Sysplex
Mainframe to a fairly inexpensive AIX HAMP ES implementation.
We work with our clients and based on their requirements, budget constrains
come up with best possible solutions. Our deliverables during the design phase
are following:
- Diagrams
- Servers
- Applications
- Middleware Installations
- Network
- Message Flows
- Server Specifications
- Security Policy
- Disaster Recovery Plans
- Business Contingency Plans.
- Reviews of Previous Deliverables
