Overview

Netflexity works primarily with the IBM middleware package WebSphere MQ formerly known as MQSeries. MQSeries is a reliable messaging provider supporting very wide array of programming APIs and operating systems. Connecting disparate operating environments such as Cobol applications running on Mainframe, C applications on Unix and Visual Basic applications on Windows is a breeze with MQSeries.

It is very important to have professionally designed, installed, configured and maintained middleware environment because middleware and messaging play a key role in Enterprise Application Infrastructure.

Consider the following scenario. A large insurance company with several call centers all over the country, web applications and VRU units for customers to open, update and review claims. There are also two data centers, claims processing center, and quality assurance department. In such a set up MQSeries provides messaging services between the environments and various applications.
